Anne has enjoyed a career spanning more than 30 years in the public service, both in the Commonwealth and ACT Governments. Anne’s first role was serving bankruptcy notices for the Australian Taxation Office. About 20 years ago she moved from collecting revenue, to spending it in the Department of Finance’s procurement function. Anne was involved in the Government’s outsourcing push, assisting agencies to scope their requirements for corporate services. She also helped to shape the policy framework to implement the Free Trade agreement with the United States. For the last four years Anne has led the Procurement Management Branch that looks after whole of government procurement arrangements, including the travel arrangements. Anne enjoys working with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and a glass of bubbly at the end of a long day.
